The Friesian Farm, also known as Sheila's Slightly Stable, began in 2005 with the purchase of our first Friesian, Rintje. Because of Rintje's temperament, beauty and character, we decided to begin breeding friesians.
Located in Mosinee, Wisconsin, we are a small farm and are focusing on quality breeding to enhance the friesian breed. Our mares have been selected with great attention to their bloodlines and superb friesian qualities. Each mare has a full paper and we meticulously select the right stallion for them based on both mare and stallion linear keuring scores. While we were in the process of selecting our mares, we also couldn't resist a very hairy gypsy filly named Nell. Nell is a vintage gypsy that you just can't resist. She also has very impressive bloodlines.
